About: Saumya Khanna is a public health researcher based in the D.C. Metro Area. Her research focuses on empowering patients in the health care system through better decision-making tools and health education. Her research interests focus on cost-effectiveness, consumer decision-making, health economics, health education, and Medicare and Medicaid. She has tinkered with educational design at Harvard University, is a current mentor for the Alray Scholars Program, and has created a non-profit called Cordial Corporation which aims to raise money for patient advocacy groups.
